His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, visited the Qassim Scientific Center in Unaizah Governorate on Thursday evening.
During the visit, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud was briefed on the scientific facilities at the center, which is considered one of the model scientific centers in the Middle East. It includes specialized scientific units in life sciences, environmental sciences, physical applications, robotics and artificial intelligence, electronics and communications, medical technologies, chemical industries and nanotechnology, computers and information technology, mathematics engineering, space and aviation sciences, in addition to multi-purpose halls that focus on geology, life sciences, physical applications, oil and energy, technology, communications and Islamic inventions.
During the visit, His Highness listened to a brief explanation about the center, which targets male and female students and all types of talent. At the end of the visit, commemorative photos were taken of His Highness the Minister of Interior and His Highness the Emir of Qassim Region with the center's staff.
